#spookytuesday It’s hard to believe these #U2 Dragon Ladies are 70 years old now. 48 years ago when I was a 7 year old RAF brat, I used the Akrotiri DET3 daily departure as my 0630 morning alarm. Needing only half a runway, they seemed positively space aged compared to VC10s, Hercs and Wessexes.

Superb! The Red Bull guys are always awesome! Ok, me again. This is a big fat C-27 Spartan transport aircraft, doing the most adventurous loop-the-loop you’re ever likely to see. I have visions of the red-faced loadmaster hanging upside down in the back, calling the pilot every name under the sun 😂
West Dorset. Not quite as busy as Bournemouth and Poole, and a lot more rural. Plus the best view to be found anywhere in the British Isles
