I have a Canadian Forces Decoration with an extra bar indicating 22 years of service. I will take no lectures about the “warrior culture” from a chicken hawk like Pierre Poilievre, whose entire experience of “warrior culture” comes from playing Call of Duty in his mother’s basement.

Here’s the receipt on the time she referred to a documented Nazi crime as “a fever dream.”

The quoted tweet refers to the Nazis burning books on trans healthcare and research, a reference to the well documented attack on the Institut für Sexualwissenachaft.

Rowling comments “I just… how? How did you type this out and press send without thinking ‘I should maybe check my source for this, because it might’ve been a fever dream.’

JK Rowling is a Nazi apologist.

Considering that with each passing day, the public sees how much of the anti-trans movement was engineered by the wealthy to fuel culture war hate on the back of a vulnerable community, I’d say we owe massive apologies to trans people.

Just this week we learned that a decade ago, Epstein suggested using trans rights as a wedge issue, and that JK Rowling’s team was courting him.

We also learned that what we were told about the closure of the Tavistock clinic, the only youth clinic in the UK for gender affirming care, was nothing but lies.

Rowling’s pal Hilary Cass forced the clinic to close after reports of 1000 complaints from families. We learned this week that it only received eight complaints over 10 years, mostly about delays.

In the meantime, the Health Department has been concealing trans children suicide numbers, which we now know rose dramatically following the closure.

The terrible idea was always to scapegoat trans kids.

St. Simon’s, Oakville has some nice light effects when you turn off the interior lights and let the exterior lights shine through the windows. The All Ages Pageant and Holy Communion was chaos followed by calm . . . as it should be. Baby Jesus was lost, Baby Jesus was found. Merry Christmas.
