Saddened to hear of the passing of Barbara Black. Barbara was my 1L Contracts professor, become Columbia Law's first woman Dean. We shared the same graduate history advisor, the great Edmund Morgan, and regularly got together over the succeeding decades. A wonderful teacher, scholar, and friend.
