I usually keep where I work pretty close to the chest for many reasons, but this is too special not to share. Since I was 8 years old, I’ve wanted to be out there racing with my heroes. My name might not be the one over the driver’s window, but I’d like to think I still made little me proud.

Star Trek Online! (Honorable mention: NASCAR Thunder 2004. Pretty sure 20 seasons of 25% distance races was at least 1100 hours…)

A screenshot from Star Trek Online of my pride and joy, the Excelsior-class Federation Starship USS Nashville, NCC-2144. She features a combination of the original Excelsior’s saucer and hull, with the refit warp nacelles seen on the Enterprise-B (in my headcanon, the Nashville was built between the original Excelsior and Enterprise-B, featuring component designs from both ships). Her hull is a dark silver metallic color, meant to look weathered with years of service and inspired by the reboot version of the Battlestar Galactica. The ship also features patches of dark blue and faded yellow paint, in a variation on the original Excelsior livery.

Saw the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra last night as they performed the complete score of Black Panther! In a surprise to absolutely no one, I didn’t cry as much as I thought I would (I cried more. MUCH more. 🥲)
