This week I defended my dissertation & got shortlisted for the Ursula K Le Guin prize. As a totally well-adjusted/rational person, this brings a wave of anxiety as I am convinced good things lead to Icarus moments. So here I am, acting in defiance of that, by telling you all. I am happy.
