Pre-wc94 I somehow became a USMNT sicko. I remember saving packages of Kahn's hot dogs to go to a 1-day soccer camp with Tony Meola & as he signed this hat he said he'd be playing in a league in the US. Became a fan of the league that day. First game @ rfk in 97, streamed on YAHOO in college (lol)
Very similar story here (I remember taping us cup 93 where Alexi scored v England). Recently my mom sent me a box of my old tapes that I really ought to digitize
Nice, I can finally replace this one I got signed by Tony Meola in 1995
Generally find these chudspam texts that I receive every goddamn day to be irritating in a banal way but "golden headscarves" is truly baffling
Zipped through this @leanderalphabet.bsky.social tome in Paris, not only is it a must-read for ussoccer sickos, it's also a really well written popular history in general.
It is *bonkers* that this band can tour without NEKO GODDAMN CASE and still be so so good
notepad has tabs now, and instead of the default filename being UNTITLED.txt it now just grabs the first 35 characters. ask me how i realized
I was going to reply with a suggestion about whistling to yourself but i guess bluesky wants me to say "sais-tu siffler?"

Gonna start doing some events for this again in the spring, plus giving some copies away at #scms26! global.oup.com/academic/pro...
I can't tell if the people fighting you in your mentions here don't actually watch the union or don't watch anybody else. The style shifted pretty dramatically because Ernst thinks that having the ball is boring and bad! He literally said this!
1) it is good and cool that this place is continuing to things like this without any hesitation or controversy 2) so sad that in this age of austerity they needed to consolidate trans day of remembrance and trans day of pizza
