My first house was built in Chinese bond, also known as rat trap bond, but your example is more elaborate, and not one I have seen before.
A pedestrian bridge over a drainage ditch on a public footpath has been illegally demolished, and the ditch has been deepened and widened. This is where three important public footpaths, that now can’t be navigated, converge! I will now roam wherever I please on this land.#walking.#Righttoroam.
Feeling very glad that I got out for a walk this afternoon as this is how the sky changed in just one hour.
Today was the Annual Flodden Ride from Coldstream to Branxton Hill, the site of the 1513 Battle of Flodden Field. The Coldstream Pipe Band, and the world famous Coldstream Guards lead over 200 riders through the small town. Every town in the Scottish Borders is represented.
A breeze is keeping the harvest flies and biting insects at bay, so I’m sitting on the deck with a glass of Tullibardine. Slainte!
