i actually thought all those photos of fat bumblebees napping in a flower were some social media horseshit, probably half of them AI fakes too, but i guess i just never looked. i saw this one hanging here in the shade on a hot day barely moving for 5 or 10 minutes before going on with her business.
i only play upright bass once a year anymore and it always gets gnarly
i played it on winamp with the visualizations going as is correct and proper
i made some unplanned carnitas last night, so breakfast this morning was carnitas & eggs tostadas. i thought it looked cool! it was tasty, but to be honest a bit dry. i should've done the salsa in the food processor instead of chopping it but i don't always make the best choices before coffee.

for reference, here's the same sunset with my "good" camera... a point-and-shoot from 2012. ok, yeah, this one is vastly better in many ways. but. uh
BEHOLD. every year i grab as much citrus as i'm allowed from the fruit basket my aunt sends us and juice it all into what my brother has dubbed CHRISTMAS JUICE. it glows with concentrated christmas power, and let me tell you it is some real holy shit on new year's morning.
couple last beach photos before fall. lightning pics are of course corny and cliche, except mine which are sooooo coooool. i love the huge explosions in the clouds!! south carolina 2008
they dropped long rock jetties about every 1/4 mile to try to keep the beach in place. it's futile of course, but the rocks attract a ton of wildlife like these cockles. south carolina 2016
no idea where the black sand comes from, or why it's laid down in a pattern. south carolina 2013
