Also in that "mess"...geraniums that I transplanted on a whim because I got the plant a year or two ago for free at work. This was just a cut branch transplanted. It WAS an empty space when I planted it 😬🌱
I turned around and the garden exploded 🤭🌱 I spent about 20 minutes yesterday before it got too hot pulling out grass.
When I say I'm a feral gardener, I mean it. Yes there's food in here. It's like Where's Waldo but with tomatoes 🍅 🤭🌱

Found these pulling ragweed 🤭🌱 It's a native took forever for me to get established. The prairie's bloomed immediately 🙄😆
Sometimes my plant ID apps tag this as Fall Phlox. Being that it's blooming in early July, pretty sure it's Garden Phlox. Couldn't tell you what the difference is, if any. But seems likely it would be named for the season. 🌱💓

3.9 inches since yesterday afternoon/evening. We got lucky...not far from here got over 12. 😱 We did lose a tree though. Sadness.

Lone ranger 🥲 Being that hollyhocks only bloom in the second year and I only see blooming in the front yard, we will have none at all next year if she doesn't leave them alone. 😒
