I don’t understand how anyone who saw him play sees anything less than 88 Kareem or worst case scenario 1996 Magic
I’m sure Albernaz told Adley he’s going to have to learn to play through it.
Did the Orioles bullpen turn around and I not notice? Unrelated, Akin hasn’t pitched since June 28, 2026
I really hate when sports media and others do this when referring to the Celtics. The last time Tatum and Brown were healthy in the playoffs they won a title.
Oh AP—do you even read your own article anymore? “Cavalli said he hadn't apologized to Contreras yet, but he hopes he hears his explanation.” So he hasn’t apologized—and he hopes he hears his explanation as in not an apology.

@actualkatherine.bsky.social hey—have you heard of Baltimorean Pauli Murray? Episcopal church celebrates their feast day and this was the first time I realized s/he was born in Baltimore.
I think one of Albernaz’ biggest issues is he doesn’t have a strategy for 7, 8, 9 Every strong Os bullpen knows who is getting the ball in those innings when we are protecting a lead and you keep those arms fresh for those scenarios. Maybe 8 is now Wolfram—but he’s been used all over the place.
NYT has decided that being a subscriber is not enough—I now get a blocking interstitial to “upgrade” to All Access Family every time I log in. I’m a one adult household—and all my friends have better taste than to read the times.
A friend used to emcee a lot of time opening for artists. He said he’s the only artist he opened for that actually came by and bought his CD. He said that stuck with him. That seems to be the sum of who he is. www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...
Samuel is a big boy, he’s never going to be nimble. In the bottom of the second he cost the Os a run by trying to make a nimble a tag on Freeland instead of using his body to block home plate once he received the ball.
Terrance Real is the source. I heard about it in the book Us Short is imagine all of the male privileged that society gives men—except fully reinforced and cultivated through child rearing.
Wolfram Cano Nunez Rico Garcia Tyler Wells Makes almost no sense in a one run—tied game. If Garcia can do two innings in what universe do you trot out Nunez first? Why is Cano brought out after Traffic? Why Wolfram before Wells?
