been working on something really big for my portfolio, firestar rig! rigging was done in maya. spline IK for the spine for more catlike movements, retractable claws, toes with spread and splay, rigged blinks, and the pupil can slit (no blendshape needed)! texturing still a wip though

I went swimming recently!!! the beach is great but tbh I'm a wayyy bigger fan of a nice shallow glacial river...
you encouraged me to dig up the speedpaint file (this is actually a rather old piece 🫣) My process is often pretty messy, you can see me change my mind 53 different times throughout this lol, but most of this is just the lasso tool!
I might be reaching here but the long flowing hair and some of the colour combinations makes me think of the ancient persian Simurgh a little bit, there's also some modern depictions that portray it with multiple pairs of wings like she has on her head
