@everyone - As part of the update to our license structure, Toon Boom Animation is phasing out sales of perpetual licenses. We can confirm the following information:
• New perpetual licenses will no longer be sold as of June 1st. 3-year subscriptions are now available as an alternative.
• Artists will still have access to the licenses you purchased. We are not deactivating the perpetual licenses that you currently own.
• If you have an existing perpetual license, you may renew an annual Support Plan which will include updates to the next major release.
• If you are currently subscribed to a monthly or annual license, these changes do not affect you.

The etymology of monstrosity suggests the complex roles that monsters play within society. 'Monster' probably derives from the Latin, monstrare, meaning 'to demonstrate'
', and monere, 'to warn'
Monsters, in essence, are demonstrative.
They reveal, portend, show and make evident, often uncomfortably so. Though the modern gothic monster and the medieval chimaera may seem unrelated, both have acted as important social tools.

Wrote a post on LinkedIn about my approach to updating Toon Boom Animation's product descriptions from the launch of Harmony & Storyboard Pro 25. TLDR: It's not enough to tell users about new features if you don't do the work to understand the problems it solves. www.linkedin.com/posts/michae...

Supports paperless and cut-out animation from rough animation to character rigs, and compositing. Why do I need it? All of your artists can collaborate using the same programs and project files. The old version leaves some of these questions with incomplete answers.

Put everything about the morality of using AI aside. Just for a second. If you understand how it works, giving OpenClaw your actual email creditials is just about the most reckless thing you can do. Here's Microsoft's initial security assessment: www.microsoft.com/en-us/securi...

In an unguarded deployment, three risks materialize quickly:
• Credentials and accessible data may be exposed or exfiltrated.
• The agent's persistent state or
"memory" can be modified, causing it to follow attacker-supplied instructions over time.
• The host environment can be compromised if the agent is induced to retrieve and execute malicious code.

Because of these characteristics, OpenClaw should be treated as untrusted code execution with persistent credentials. It is not appropriate to run on a standard personal or enterprise workstation. If an organization determines that OpenClaw must be evaluated, it should be deployed only in a fully isolated environment such as a dedicated virtual machine or separate physical system.
The runtime should use dedicated, non-privileged credentials and access only non-sensitive data. Continuous monitoring and a rebuild plan should be part of the operating model.
