My contract is coming to an end soon. I wanted to check in with my manager today to find out if they'd heard back from HR about renewing it. Lo and behold, manager is on leave for 2 weeks. Guys, I am preparing to be unemployed by end of the month because wtffffffffff

Sweater progress! I haven't had much time to work on it, but 6 balls of yarn later I have this much!

Finished the sleeves! Now to finish the body. I have too much belly to be ok with a crop top version 😅

The cowl i started ages ago. I wasn't digging the contrast yarn i had tried originally, so I pulled that loose and just did a black "contrast". Happier now, added the braids and trinkets. It's a bit big and bulky and definitely affects my fov, I need to be careful if I walk around while wearing it.

not 100%sure yet if I want to add more details. I might just add a few shadows to the tree.

I put my sweater on hold to crochet a silly thing. The hairs greatly upsets my partner 🤣🤣🤣 Amigurumi is not my best crochet skill, getting nice shapes is harder than it may seem.

... to do 30 minutes of trouble shooting unsuccessfully and then just uninstall/reinstall when you want to draw. Like the desire evaporates in the process. I managed a rough sketch for an idea, but I was so frustrated with my pc not much else got done.

In an attempt to help me sleep at night, I crawled through some neighbourhoods. (There was a stop at the shop in the middle hence the dismal pace and heart rate).

Went on a walk through the forest. Many happy fungi making fruiting bodies. Seems as though other people in the area enjoy kicking mushrooms over and/or trampling them. The paths were littered with squashed mushrooms. Why do this? I don't understand.

I've got a stash of yarn that I'm not all that crazy about. I ordered it online, the colour wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. Dark brown and brick red. Anyway, using it to make a fugly sweater just to give sweater making a try. This is how much sweater 2 balls of ugly yarn can make (I have more).

I don't know what I did, but I may have sprained my one finger on my right hand. The knuckle is very unhappy about doing work. Pain only started today... And I really wanted to get in the garden this weekend too... 😫

Very nearly finished with making this cowl. It needs some trinkets and then it'll be done. I'm not 100% on the colour combo for the accent colour, I'll decide after a daytime look. It will suck to undo some work but I would like to wear this thing.

I am afraid of looking at my bank balance. I still need to go through my comiccon stash. 🙈🙉🙊 Anyway, all natural fibres feom local small makers. I have no idea what to make with most of this yet 😆

It's supposed to eventually become this, but I think my crochet gauge is a bit off so I'm gonna undo the seam and add a few more rows to *hopefully* give it a more relaxed fit. It's so frikkin warm!

I know I lost count of the rows while making this (I have no stitch markers that fit)... so taking a wild guess for how big this should be...

#gothproblems When your black items don't match 😭 The original supplier no longer stocks the yarn I was using for this project (even though it's still listed on their website). Tried a different yarn with the same thickness but... the black dyes are not the same shade...

I've ordered more yarn. Until then, this project is on hold. 😅
