Stopped off at the Biergarten to read after work and get a little more distance in on the bike! Now I'm 20 pages from the end of this. The end is nigh!
Munich is a difficult place for me to live in the present when my mind is stuck in the cinema. I took this photo as I walked back from the cinema after watching The Oddysey for the second time, not smart enough to recognise that the statue is Athena.
This thread had me go for some fairly high end Tacos in Manchester. Pleased with my choice, excellent location but oh money was spent. UK is expensive and these small plates always add up.
Playing with my twitter dataset with OpenAI Codex today. In 2012 I traveled weekly from Southampton to Oxford by Megabus and as a 'bit' I would tweet "I'm on a bus', which later included other modes of transport.
I've been in Munich for over a decade, people take cycling here seriously! We've got great bicycle highways, streets when bikes have priority, and otherwise lots of dedicated cycle lanes, yet I've not owned a bike here! Today I took the plunge at the city's bike fair 'Radldult'
Only my second time here. The last time I was here was the day of the Brexit referendum.
It's strange to visit the UK and only see my parents for 24 hours. Quality time, family BBQ, and played with the pup for a bit. Today hopefully squeezing in a catch up with one of my oldest friends before going to the Airport this afternoon.
This is a cat check point. Relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
Took a couple of Panorama shots yesterday. First one, view from Riederstein.
There I am thinking I can upload my documents for German citizenship today, but the BayernID, used by München for the online application process, is returning 403s errors. I guess I should expect this as it's a Public Holiday today.
Yes of course this Buttermilch is buttery, for it in fact contains butter.
Turns out the hike was perfect training. Not only was it a similar duration to the 3 hour ascent I'm targeting but part of it was a difficult 30 minute stair climb, or a gentle ascent over a longer distance. I took the stairs because that is exactly how my target hike is all the damn way to the top.
I'm in Nerja down the coastline from Málaga in Spain. It's my first time here as an adult but I visited here in 1999. I don't think much has changed here but I definitely didn't enjoy Wine and Tapas as much the last time I was here, and I think I was more interested in the beach than the mountains.
Went to Lowlander, had a flight of beers. Interesting experience. Now at Brouwerij Tij.
If you see this, I implore you to post a picture from whatever device you’re using with no explanation.
UK Italian Chain Prezzo is offering to turn your chocolate Easter Egg into a Calzone for free. Which egg? You know the one. The photo in the email clearly shows a Cadbury Creme Egg, which is later named C**** Egg in the T&C's link 😂
