Joe has a TBI and often wears a helmet. He was discharged from GW on Friday and never made it home to Adams Morgan.
Took the bus home from Anthem last night and it was only 45 minutes. I think I lucked out though because the 50 was right there when I started walking to Metro and there was a 51 1 minute away at 14th and U. Would do again.
I will never be a Native Washingtonian but no one can argue with my love of and commitment to this city. And now it’s inked permanently on my leg!

Gutted. For 13 years, weekly, sometimes daily depending on her whims, Maisey and I walked past DC’s naughtiest statue. Now they are both gone. 😭😭

Polls and drop boxes are open till 8pm DC! Let’s do this! And yes that is 2.7lbs of political mailers. Gotta love being a super voter with so many open seats up for grabs 👀😬
Tomorrow’s the day DC! Get those ballots in a drop box or use any one of the city’s vote centers tomorrow from 7am to 8pm.
