MAG has launched a new innovative mobile game app - Safe Path – to help children in #Iraq build the knowledge they so vitally need to stay safe. The app turns life-saving safety messages into play, teaching children how to recognise danger, avoid risks.

MAG's response in #Ukraine has grown in the last four years alongside the needs of communities affected by the conflict. As of July 2026, our teams have cleared more than 2.5 million square metres of land and delivered almost 16,000 explosive ordnance risk education sessions.

Our teams teach communities the dangers of explosives - a message that needs to be understood and remembered. With @germany.diplo.de's support, we are using in #Iraq an innovative VR experience: adults and children safely walk a simulated minefield, learning to spot danger and navigate safe routes.

During Sri Lanka's war, Mullikulam Upper School's playground was used to store weapons and military vehicles. Years later, heavy rain exposed a landmine. MAG cleared the site - now 100+ students can play safely. Every child deserves to learn free from fear. #SriLanka

A special discovery in Laos 🇱🇦 MAG teams recently uncovered a buried Buddha statue just metres from a local temple. After safely excavating it, the statue was returned to the temple for proper care. Local monks came to bless both the sacred statue & the site where it was found.
