Perfection!

A potted minature, yellow rose.
There tiny roses will bloom most of the summer. In the fall I'll plant them in the garden. I've successfully done this with other miniature roses which have bloomed again after a Nova Scotian winter.
Not bad for 2/$10.00 at Sobeys.

I was in Sobeys tonight. I stopped by the floral section to look at the miniature roses.(2 for $10.00) Out of the blue a lady came over and said "these blueberries should be sold cheaper than $4.99... AND!!!, THEY ARE FROM VERMONT!?!!!" I was equally amused and scandalized.

Supper, 1st attempt at making sushi at home.

On a cream plate is slices of sushi, & a mango, cucumber salad.
The sushi: Nori, sushi rice, canned tuna mixed with diced radish, green onion, & a spicy mayo, thin strips of cucumber, julienned carrot, red bell pepper, thin strips of mango, Furikake seasoning.

Nova Scotia, I believe the weather might be my fault....I forgot to take this glass snowflake decoration down. Sorry. In my defense I'm not tall and even standing on the chesterfield I can't reach it properly. I promise that this weekend I'll take it down.

Dinner guests. Not sure why this meal warrents the attention. It is just a purchased salad kit, all I did was open the pre-filled bags of ingredients and dump them 'artfully' into my bowl.

We are preparing for the nor'easter expected to hit Monday into Tuesday. I bought tulips rather than storm chips.

The chickadees are loudly singing their song of spring. Hazel has ventured out to enjoy the sunny day. Earlier she was rolling in the snow and now she is sunbathing. She will often sit with her paw raised. Her fur is quite plush & at the moment it is puffed out as insulation from the cold.

A winter dogcoat, and an overhead line which runs from the backdoor to my treeline. There is a 3 m lead attached to the overhead line. It allows Sparrow to run out do what she needs to do and zoom back to the door. I'd be out with her clearing the steps, etc. Old photos of my late Robin in snow.

#TerrierTuesday We've had out 2nd in a row weekend snow storm. This time was a 2+ day snowstorm. The snow is, much, much higher than Sparrow. It was -27°C with the windchill at one point. So, we stayed inside unless it was absolutely necessary. The day(s) were spent on storm watch and napping.

Saje, this is very new favourite. Safe Hands Foaming hand soap. Is the best hand soap I've ever used. Cleans my hands without drying out my skin. And, it rinses off well there is no film or residue left on my hands. A nice light scent.
