Just back from beautiful Cotehele, Cornwall. We’re used to narrow lanes, but those today were 🙈and I’m just the passenger!
@dawnbritten.bsky.social Just bought this in the local farm shop and thought of you!
Looks round, whistling nonchalantly…..of course! Three bags of compost ( multi buy ) and ….
I inherited some hexagons from my m- in- law, so made up this little Christmas quilt, now completed. All hand sewn.
Just trying to use up some yarn oddments. I might manage to get a bag out of them, which I’ll line and add a zip. Crochet isn’t really my thing, but I’m trying to improve.
Bit of a botched job! Still, the next things ( top for this and a pinafore dress ) should be better as the fabric will be easier to sew. Then she goes back to school!
Clothes for this toy- it’s for a non- verbal child. She will point to an item on a board and someone will dress Angelina for her- she can’t do it herself. It’s fiddly because I’ve no patterns and she’s small, but I’m happy to help.
Morning Clare and all. Made the bra yesterday, so it’s knicker production today. It’s for a non- verbal child who will use a screen to select clothes, then a support worker will dress toy for her.
I’m the reverse- used to U.K. terms. For yarn, I just use wpi to determine the thickness, if stuck. Really, I’m a knitter/ sew- er( where did the word ‘sewist’ come from? ), but determined to give crochet a go!
Witch’s dress for village children’s Halloween party and baby hats for Gaza- all short notice. Not great timing tbh- still, done now.
Anyone know if this is physalis? The flower is a pretty pale blue and white trumpet.
Just back from a block printing workshop in the village hall. Very professional, good value for money and great fun!
