Welp, new favorite airplane. This is the Airbus A350-1000ULR that just made its first test flight from Toulouse to Melbourne in 19 hours 12 minutes.
Today may become the first time, of *all* time, that Japan sees 5 straight days of 40+°C temps. I am in Gifu, right in the middle of all this, and I just wanna die. Weather like this put me in the hospital in 1994.
The forecast for Nagoya for the next four days. 40°C = 104°F.

I recently found the Star Trek Episode Title Card Generator and it didn't take me long to start being silly
M8.2 #earthquake in the Philippines causing tsunami cautions in western Japan
"Keep ice cream in the freezer; it will melt at room temperature." BASKIN ROBBINS is telling me this. What blithering idiocy prompted a warning like this from an ICE CREAM SHOP?
Reminds me of that old Monty Python sketch where aliens turn everyone in England into Scotsmen, who march north in unison
I have full coverage in the US from JA right now *except* the region I really want.
I had forgotten that was its own DXCC, but it appears I've had Alaska confirmed for a while now.
