Generic person who suffers from depression. Sometimes funny, often not. Mostly use social media to keep tabs on what creative people I like are doing, and current events.
Late by over a month, but- Some pictures of the Saskatoon bushes (the second bush is a little further back and to the left, I'm just focusing on the larger of the two bushes.) -June 14: Small post-flowering berries forming. -July 1: Larger berries, still green. -July 19: Many ripening berries.
Though, eventually, you learn to conquer the night and build whatever you want.
Well, I returned home this evening to 130+ notifications... So I'm just gonna cleanse this a bit with (non-nip)owls. You lovely sickos 🤪.
I can picture this vividly, thanks to a certain game that made the rounds a while ago... (store.steampowered.com/app/2067050/...)
"Freddy's going to slay..." That's bad. "This next song!" That's good! "And then he's going to infect your dreams..." That's bad. "With this awesome earworm!" That's good! "The ear worm is a literal flesh eating worm" ... Can I go now?
Each and every Covid shot has knocked me out for a solid day after getting it. Only regret is that I can not personally watch my immune system going ham on the training dummies medical science has provided me with. I imagine it is like The Simpsons' Herman going after the flour sack with a bayonet.
Taken with my phone's 7x zoom, I tried to give this great blue heron a wide berth by walking as close to the beach's treeline as possible, but it was still too close for comfort. #Manitoba #BlueHeron
I was bored. And I realized that my favorite golf balls are the ones I find. And given that I /frequently/ lose golf balls (2-4 per 9 holes), maybe someday these four will be among someone else's favourites? (Using white balls as a base would have probably been better. This is what I have.)
Not my best work, and even more ephemeral as it is built on a sandbar island, but.... #sandcastle #lakemanitoba
It do be strawberry season. (Only one is mine, though I helped pick roughly a third.)
It was pretty damn stupid, and I'm pretty sure the only lesson learned by those in power is that they can lie with impunity. Which helped draft the roadmap for everything that's happened since. Also, behold! Bin Laden's mountain fortress. Extra "hilarious" considering where he was eventually found.
Well, let's see what the market is like 8 years later... Mhmm, Mhhmmm... Yep, ABABABAB [*nods sagely while closing that tab*]
Lure a galaxy class close enough to some sensor-imparing phenomenon (you can probably find at least three in any given star system), scrape your hull against a nacelle, and you might even get away! (Unless they get caught in a Groundhog Day situation)
Not finished reading yet, kinda stuck staring at exhibits A & B. Put them into paint to get a more immediately side-by-side comparison, and... I'm reminded of that GTA(3?) "AI" remaster that ignored all context and turned the giant hex nut into a smoothed out doughnut (among other sins)
One of the community ferals (a sandy-coloured cat we just call "Momma") had three kittens this summer. Security camera captured one of the kittens (old enough to be without Momma), romping about in the freshly fallen first snow of the year. Community Kitten's first snow (part 1):
From my three favourite decks: -"Timmy the Maro-Sorcerer" -"Traumatic Echos" -"The Best Offence" The blue&black control/mill deck either works beautifully, or dies horribly while annoying everyone at the table. Either way; mission accomplished!
