Glitter freckles are going to be part of my regular look, I think. I'm out at the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex today for a book fair, the Book Gymboree
I took the twins to IKEA for college dorm goodies, and while I wandered a bit, I found the DIY #Wicker husband kit.
Happy Stuff Your E-reader Day! I'm taking part in RomanceBookWorms' event with "If the Shoe Fits... Run" When Cinderella discovers her prince is not so charming, she goes on the run with her fairy godfather who gets so flustered that he tells the people they meet that they're married.
Protecting my lungs from the wildfire smoke while I'm out picking up kids from work.
Sometimes you make something that turns out so pretty you stun yourself with the outcome. Hand painted dragon scale earrings.
I had so much fun writing this book that I'm going to give him his own book eventually.
#UnhingedPit #A #R #Q Pain eating demon + a Lupus patient remove her pain, find his missing memories, fix American healthcare, and f*** Hell up in the process. PS. They do it...with his tentacles.
Editing for someone else and myself today. My head still hurts from my German Shepherd smacking his head into mine hard enough I saw stars. My kids asked yesterday if I could make two friends some ear cuffs as graduation gifts. The recipients loved them.
Packing up for the Kenosha Art Market's first 2026 event. We're in a different booth location than previous years, but we will still have our purple tent!
#WIP Prince of Pain Scene: the pain eating demon accidentally downloads his meal's memories of being gaslit by her doctors as he's feeding off her pain. #DarkRomance #NewBook
My copies of "If the Shoe Fits...Run" arrived in time for this weekend's Kenosha Book Festival! Cover art by me using a whole lot of stock art and a lot of swearing while playing in Photoshop. I format my books in Vellum, and the starry scene divider is from @alderdoodle.bsky.social
I finally posted the short story prequel to The Fatespun Triumvirate. Persephone was featured in The Star and wanted a bit more on page time since She won't be seen much (if at all) in Queen of Cups.
Today's chainmaille project. I'm thinking a simple byzantine necklace with flowers dropping down like bells with the metal charm hanging down as the pendant, maybe with some flowers and red teardrop beads alternating down from it....
Sometimes, you just need to flip around all the photos to the mirrored direction, change the title entirely, and play with widening and splitting the skirt on an image to make a plus-sized princess silhouette. #Author #BookCover
I checked what was visible before logging into a video call with high school students to talk to them about having a career in writing. Didn't want complaints from parents. Advised them to stay far away from AI, make friends who are also creatives, network, build a platform, and to write everyday.
Celiacs, don't worry! Krampus' magic removed all the gluten in the sourdough bread man before he sent Dilly to meet all of Jerika's needs. MFM (Krampus couldn't resist the plus-sized librarian), spicy, #romance Available now!
Two #dice commissions in the same colorway but different inking choice.
Eldest kiddo's 21st birthday was a good reason to dress up. I was excited to wear my cherry blossom skirt from @mayakern.com
From one of our last meals out before Jean Rabe and her husband Bruce moved to southern IL.
Our government is a dumpster fire. I'm cleaning up the edges on shiny things to hopefully make people smile.
I was trying for strawberry milk dice and ended up with jello salad instead. I'll tweak the colors and method next time. #resindice #ttrpg
These Storm Mage dice have finished curing, so today they get the edges cleaned up the rest of the way, polish the faces, and then ink the numbers. I made a bunch of dice and then stored them away to cure for Midwinter. Now, the convention vending prep begins!
My hands are still a bit shaky from my flare, but I managed to make myself a piece of mask jewelry using some Strawberry Shortcake charms the twins gifted me.
The event we're vending at next week has swag bags for the first 50 attendees. Vendors were invited to add something to them. Hubby 3d printed a bunch of tiny dragons with remnant filament, and I'm going to adjust our business cards to attach with glue dots.
Find me on Nov. 29th in Racine, WI at the Big Christmas Shopping Craft & Vendor Show at the Delta Hotel from 11a-4p.
Wyrm Embrace by STLFlix in a tricolor filament and coordinating chain to be worn as a shoulder rider.
