No huge accomplishments yesterday. Fighting weeds and doing house stuff. SSDD.
I stayed home yesterday. Had a grumpy muscle in my leg cramping. Okay, I overdid it. It's fine now. I watched 2 movies. Beaches again. Midler is such a treasure. Then The Devil Wears Prada 2. I loved it. Both movies about women friendships. On top of friend's call it was all about that yesterday.
It's good to have a plan. Can't wait to hear yours for the weekend. I have no big ones this weekend. Just gym time. We had wicked winds and a bit of rain last evening. Supposed to get more rain this evening. ~finger crossed.
Good August 1st morning #NMRollCall. Lammas or Lughnasadh marks the beginning of autumn harvest, and the noticeable descent of the Sun into the darkness of winter. Thoughts of transformation, death and rebirth are part of Lughnasadh ceremony Autumn is on its way.
No ideas for dinner so it will be wing it time. We shall see. Fall back is always popcorn or a smoothie. A be kind to me day.

Tried to watch the new Wicked. But it didn't grab me. I had read the book long ago and it also did not grab me. But if it made kids interested the Broadway shows I am all for it.
Too old to change now. Plus I don't want to. When I move to CA I had to tamp my Jersey girl down a bit. But always will be one.
Not a lot done yesterday. Did hit the gym and do cardio. Happy me! Back in the saddle again. I sleep even better when I work out and did. Just leftover chicken and some pasta. Tonight salad with the rest of the chicken. Heat does not inspire cooking.

Rewatched Atonement on Netflix. I saw when it first came out. It is a really great movie. One of my all time favorites. It's leaving at the end of the month. So if you want to watch now is the time.
An Ebay score. These are on their way. I may in time paint the guest bathroom a either turquoise or coral. So these are a more subtle addition.
Made chicken tacos last night. Neighbor gave me some red chile sauce. Sauteed the cooked chicken in that. Hoo baby. Hot and wonderful.
My order of ladybugs arrived. Here is something I never expected to say. I now have hundreds of ladybugs in my fridge. Don't think deploying them in this heat today would be the best plan. Since I found the ants' nest by my raised beds, less imperative.
