I watched Abbie take her out of the crate for the first time, fresh off the plane from Korea. The day after Lucy died I went to the shelter and stood at Abbie’s door and said, “can I borrow Minnow?” I will never forget the face in the second photo that made me feel like everything would be okay.
Saturday marked 3 weeks of dealing with costochondritis and idk this just really resonated with me.
