Wore this shirt to work yesterday, a patron asked me, "Did you graduate high school in the 70s or were you born in the 70s?" 🫠
well that was a crappy day of union negotiations (also m.youtube.com/watch?v=SKWf...)
My latest America 250 display, History Has its Eyes on You, includes materials on the Kent State shootings, the Vietnam War, Japanese American internment camps, Emmett Till, the Tulsa Race Massacre, the Trail of Tears, and more.
It’d be nice to have a defensive midfielder who could win the ball back at midfield and prevent some of these attacking waves.
I’ve wanted to make a Fraisier cake for years and I finally made it happen. It wasn’t difficult, but the day I made it it was 85 degrees in my kitchen & I was worried the filling would melt right off the cake. It tastes so good, would definitely make again 🍓🍰#baking #homebaker #strawberries
My reward after a second day of union negotiations during which a member of the management team actually said aloud, "Well, we don't want the employees to have too many rights." 🙄 #unionstrong #libraries #cocktails
I’m drowning in ranunculus so I made a couple dozen mini arrangements to share with my co-workers. The many petal layers of ranunculus never fail to amaze. Shout out to my husband who sprouts them in the middle of winter & plants them in a polytunnel sometime in February (!). #ranunculus #gardening
We got new towels so I gathered the old ones to take to the animal shelter but first I’ll have to figure out how to get them away from Peggy (who, ironically, came from the shelter).
