Worked on the pollinator garden again today. Still waiting on the majority of plants to be ready from Prairie Moon and Prairie Restoration

I know Creeping Charlie is supposed to be aggressive and invasive but it's so damn pretty and doesn't grow very tall. Plus, the bumblebees in my yard seem to really like it. So now I'm conflicted. Will my neighbors hate me if I let it grow in my back yard?

Bought some veggie, herb, and strawberry plants today. Getting antsy for planting. First year being a #northerngardener Exciting and scary at the same time. In other news, the #pussytoes survived the winter! Creating a #pollinatorgarden in the front yard.

Many plants in containers waiting to be planted: strawberries, basil, oregano, tomatoes (beefsteak and cherry), and sweet red/green peppers. They sit on a mounded garden bed, covered with a mini greenhouse cover

Ok soaking them for a couple min in some water then draining and putting them in a damp coffee filter, then a baggie and in the frig they go for 10 days. Crossing fingers🤞

Trying to do scarification on these Partridge Pea (Chamaecrista fasciculata) seeds and peering at them on my tiny cheap ass kids microscope 🔬 to see if I actually did anything. First time trying this. Aaargh aaaaah! Dis hard 😆
