maybe the battery cell can be exchanged? very weird construction with soldered-and-glued-to pcb wires, and open wires for which i assume is thermistor? or pressure sensing?

@whitequark yeah that's step 1, to see if there is a signal at all and that it looks ok (that my very improvised sniffer pcb works). and thennn someone told me that my dusty DS16 pro can do very low logic levels. so i tried it right now:

recently i coded a line editor for the keyboard/oled in pocket reform, and a cli for the system controller, and it turned out very useful for switching usb port muxes/functions and now for manually sending usb-c pd vdms 🙃

working on a tricky upside-down solution to integrate 2 extra USB-C ports in MNT Station, so that you can drive 3 displays from it using RCORE RK3588 (1x HDMI + 2x DP). this can also be adapted for the classic MNT Reform

today i was able to achieve 0.56W suspend power draw on Quasar QCS6490 Pocket Reform with the keyboard unplugged and internal usb hub unpowered. that's up to around 50 hours of suspend-to-ram on the default 2x4000mAh batteries if i'm not mistaken.
