It’s weathered and white paint flakes. Some internal upright posts have broken and it’s now unbalanced and doesn’t close properly. It’s now held together solely with single chain providing a closed barrier stopping access to the river. It’s adds beauty, there’s something charming about its character.

It’s been light since before 3am, official sunrise at around 3.40am. When the photo is taken at 7am it’s a beautiful sunny morning and the heat is starting to rise. In the photo in the background are snow capped mountains, tall pine trees hug a still, pond like lake. Not a ripple on the surface, just reflection of the mountains behind. To the foreground a pebble path and grass adds colour to the landscape.
