Not showing the sunsets in this trade off is so disingenuous. Perma-DST would make pre-5PM sunsets non-existent for almost the entire continental US. This especially impacts the population centers on the east coast and in SoCal.
Arizona clearly has this figured out. Late sunset in the winter and one of the earliest sunsets in the summer.
how big is the budget gonna have to be to rip off this cheugy eat pray love shit off the White House for the next president
A single one way ride on the strip will be a whopping $5. That's insane. You might as well pay the cost of an uber at that point. The monorail is $6 for a one way ride, too.
Flippo got 61% of the vote on election day in Washoe. I don't see a late election day rally for Settlemeyer being in the cards.
Flippo has 897 vote lead after most counties have reported early/mail results. Settlemeyer doing better than Flippo outside of Washoe (+8%). Currently, Washoe accounts for 51% of votes counted. Election day looms large and a few small rural counties have not reported anything yet.
Dem turnout in Clark County district F looking pretty good for early/mail vote. Election day will skew things back towards republicans but this was narrowly won by the Dem candidate by 300 votes in 2022.
calling the rep primary before the dem primary here is somewhat strange but ok!
Hill losing in her home Washoe County by a chunk after early vote. Removes doubt if this was gonna be remotely close
I thought this was a quite confusing visual on the Nevada SoS website that hides that it assumes 40% of mail ballots will be returned. In the '24 presidential percent returned was 32%. The '26 primary will be much lower than that. The ~600k estimate is likely a significant overestimate.
You can vote in a Fyre Fest tent in Las Vegas 😎 voted for @alexisfornevada.com @lallyfornv.bsky.social Minja Yan!
I was working to see what a potential tied election map would look like in Texas this year and it is identical to the 2018 map! Without South Texas it would get tougher and probably require getting very close to flipping Collin and Denton counties.
Cornyn will only will two counties tonight, Travis and Kenedy County. Kenedy only had 8 votes total cast, and is the fourth smallest county by population in the country.
The synergy between Paxton and French is gonna work magic for dems downballot
Looks like wright was able to make up some ground but there's not much vote left to report out. Some in Harris, Dallas, Williamson, and Bexar counties. He has been winning the eday vote but not by much.
Jim Wright is currently winning the election day vote statewide 53%-47%, this is not a safe lead for Bo French.
Garibay continues to add to her lead, now 66%-34% with election day vote
Paxton/Cornyn and Morales/Woody looking very good right now, pay no attention to the others please 😉
1.1k vote lead in early voting for Morales in Travis County precinct 4
