Seems there are a few states I’ve skipped over…

A float is defined as the length of your non-used yarn at any time. See photo for clarity. The nice thing about this technique is that it adds insulation to the finished product. I will note that it takes a LOT of knitting to get the tension right in your left hand.

My husband had to remove absolutely everything on his desk that wasn’t nailed down as soon as these two figured out how to jump that high. He even bought a teeny drawer to mount underneath for keys, wallet etc. Good luck!

Just picked a mess of figs off the tree, and Rosemary from my plant. Made fig sauce (aka applesauce but with figs). Might be convinced to have oatmeal for breakfast so I can spoon some into it!

Even through scorching heat, my garden produces beauty. Of course, it also produces three times as many weeds as flowers…🥵. #nature

Finished my first quilt top in over 20 years. Kudos to my husband for arranging the finished blocks and helping to pick sashing and border fabrics. #quilt

I have a lot of these guys to forgive, over and over.
