Few other quick things. I finished out the Japanese run of Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son) for $0.68 each. Then, got a few LPs from my kayoukyoku obsession, Ito Maiko. Her CDs are impossible to find now, but these were only $6.20 and $4.90.
My Mega Drive shopping was scant, because I blew a lot of my budget in my first few days of being in Japan. 😅 Not because of the $10 copy of Hard Drivin', but the $153 copy of Alisia Dragoon. Sporting one of my all-time favorite MD covers, I'd wanted a copy for years—and now, actually own one.
My "I feel slightly bad about gutting my English library, so let's have a small Japanese shelf collection" Saturn purchasing continued with five new pick-ups. Top row $2 each, bottom row $3.40 each. ...except, I already bought VF2 and Sega Rally on my last trip and forgot. Whoops.
In defiance of Sony's recent announcement—or just because I wanted physical copies anyhow—I picked up the Fatal Frame II Remake for $22, Nier Replicant for $15.50, Project Diva Future Tone DX for $17.30, and New Sakura Wars for $3.
NDS is getting harder to shop for, as stock just isn't there like it used to be. Got used to seeing a lot of the same games over & over. Four games, all $3.40 each: Touch! Kirby, Sawaru Made in Wario (which I got signed by my friend from Nintendo), Mister Donuts DS, and Zekkyou Senshi Sakeburein.
Two Super Famicom accessories, both for $1.85 each: a very dirty Super Game Boy that I'm hoping will clean up nice, and a Nintendo Mouse to replace my original one that seems to have disappeared.
As a lifelong Sega fan / Nintendo hater, I'm getting a little disturbed about the number of SFC games I now own. The problem is, the prices + not caring about CIB makes them so easy to pick up! Puyo Puyo 2 Remix for $3.40, Wild Trax (aka Stunt Racer FX) for $2, and all the rest for $0.68 each.
Switch is in an interesting place due to the combination of newer games + great used prices. Two copies of Tomodachi Life for $32 each, Rhythm Heaven for $38, and UsoNatsu for $22. Know nothing on that last one, but it's GL + reviews seemed good! Also, Pop'n Music Portable 2 on PSP for $3.40.
Have a lot of unexpected thoughts about game shopping in Japan that I'll put into a blog later, but for now, Mollie's 2026 Japan Pick-ups! All prices US $1 = ¥160. First up: Issue 88 of Continue (which is now back in print) focused on Dreamcast for $11.25, and a used Apple HomePod Mini for $42.50.

Just tried Rosetta, and under the current UI on a MacBook Air, I had zero ability to get back to the main menu because the option to do so was so far offscreen. Just as a suggestion, maybe the Font / Transcription / Translation stuff could be on the line above.
