Little Michael hides at the top of the stairs to the basement at the slightest rumble of thunder. There were so many fireworks last night it sounded like a war zone. He slept through it all

She will eventually come to you. We started playing with ours a couple of minutes with a stick toy. Eventually he started rubbing against my legs and soon afterwards we were able to carefully pet his back. Baby steps. Now we can brush his belly but we still have to be careful around his front paws.
Haha, we have one as well. All of a sudden I’m getting kisses on my forehead at bedtime. He used to sleep on his own blanket but he’s now cuddling in next to me. 🤷♀️. It took us about 2 1/2 years to even pet this little guy.
