It was my birthday recently, and it has become a bit of a tradition that I get a Plant 🌿 This year's treat was a Lemon Tree. So of course I read up, take a cutting, and hope the heatwave doesn't kill it 🤞 The mother tree seems happy enough though. So there's always a another chance to try 😁

Charity shop find. Unused microscope, with phone camera attachment. A child safe type, but came with all the bits needed, plus a few prepared slides. Need to stabilise the phone holder somehow, but... Still an absolute Bargain. Big kid mode engaged

It's important to do things that bring joy. Even if it's as simple as having a brew, talking a walk, hugging a loved one, fussing a pet, & so on & so forth. We all need those little moments to recharge our sanity bank, it makes it easier to deal with the bad stuff.
I really do enjoy visiting my local arts & crafts shop. I have never had a complaint.
Still sorting old files. A lot of unfinished XCFs have to be converted into KRAs. Sometimes GnuIMP works, other times meh, meh & thrice Meh! So here's one of a number of incomplete bits from the vaults. "Primordial Sun Elemental" A suggestion from when I on a different SM. ...I need a Brew.

After watching an old clip of Todd McFarlane and Stan Lee, along with the amount of mermaids I'm seeing (that time of year)... I got a little inspired this evening. Not sure if it constitutes graphic media, but better safe than sorry I guess. Quick sketch, Blue watercolour pencil on 140gsm paper.
