I’m not a good runner, but running was an important part of my health journey that led to my diagnoses. There was a time when I couldn’t do anything, and running was the only way I could assert any control over my body. It doesn’t matter how long of a break I take, I am doing this… ready for week 3
I’m trying my best to not get attached to this coupe I threw today, because I can’t keep like 10 large serving dishes—it doesn’t make sense. I need to start gifting them. I am currently obsessed with this shape. It’s going to be a mix between the white coupe and black bowl as far as shape goes 😭
I was trying to photograph the new coupe with things to scale…. When my intrusive thoughts took over And Fury ended up inside my pottery
So, the plan is to stream tonight. I am STILL moderately sick, so i dont know how long it will be. I will mute for coughing fits. Kind of sound like a frog. Anyway, this is how it’s going with Taro and Fury

We've been training the kitten to not bite us by hissing at him since loud yelping doesn't bother him. I reflexively hissed at Capra Demon last night... 🤦🏻
I also connected with someone who is going to share a kiln with me. And then I threw this big coupe (5.5lbs)
OMG, some other potters talked to me today! I was trying to figure out how to stamp this bowl that I trimmed. Someone came over and told me it was beautiful and asked if I threw it on the wheel (I did). And then I talked to them for a bit about this clay (one of my favorite clays with grog)

Saros platinum. Untouchable was rough. I went through all 3 biomes. Biome 1 and 2, I also did all option areas and nightmare strands. Of course defaulted to Myriad Chakram aka my beloved Dreadbound to carefully make my way through Biome 3. Then overdrive, prominence, and some light frisbee.
Hi. This is a reminder that I am attending sports tomorrow. I still be streaming Thursday instead. For sports, I sewed lace onto this free tshirt today—it’s why I always want the XL. The sleeves are tapered, lace to the left shoulder and around the edge too. Now it dress.
Since we are like 75% done now, it’s tattoo reveal time. I’ve been wanting to add to my kind of intense blackwork art deco piece and soften it a bit. New work wrapping around the inside of my arm (so pain) and flowers on my back (chill—I fell asleep)
Okay probably no stream tomorrow but we have kittens so I’ll set up a kitten cam for Wednesday’s stream
We are back and pretty rested and going to stream tonight after work It’s been good to take a break, see my family on the East Coast, and go to the high desert and look at stars all week We got Lola’s ashes back right before our trip and left some in the desert. She used to go everywhere with us
I filmed the sunrise over Mt Whitney today with my camera while the drone was out. This is about 20 minutes in 15 seconds. We’ve been hiking and reading a lot. I finished The Swimmers and now onto Taiwan Travelogue. This whole region looks like different aliens planets…
