Getting a heads start on holiday gifts. All the families are getting a cross stitch this year(mostly christmasy), this one specifically is for my niece. I'm having a blast doing pattern transfer- literally, this is my favorite thing to zone out doing.
If you know me at all, you know thay Blue Butterfly Pea Flower is one of my top 5 things I grow in the garden - BUT DID YOU KNOW THEY ALSO COME IN DIFFERENT COLORS! I tried white this year and its STUNNING. I plan eventually to grow an entire trellis with as many colors as I can.
Buying the counter top stable creamer is definitely one of the best choices we have made for our kitchen.

We've had the quote done, waiting to hear back to schedule. But we've entered into storm season. Bark falling casually today. Lost a bunch of beans, a small trellis, a tomato cage, and the tops of two okra okra plants.
It might be a one off. It might not. But I pushed myself and made something new and its not perfect but I loved it and was happy to send it to @hookn20.bsky.social for her birthday along with this lovely hand painted/embroidered Tiger Butterfly from Animal Crossing. Don't ask about the mounting 🤣
I CAN POST IT NOW BECAUSE SHE HAS IT! I designed this beautiful d20- embroidered it, then made it into a cover for a travelers journal style notebook! It can hold up to 3 small notebooks by the binding elastic. I used ultra heat transfer, cardboard, and linen from napkins I've thrifted.

2/10 do not reccomend trying to build a surprise gift trampoline in the rain while she is at summer camp. NOTE: THIS IS NOT WHERE IT IS STAYING IT WILL BE MOVED AFTER THE LEGS ARE SECURED.

Took a half day trip with some of husband's family out to Jacksonville Zoo for an early birthday gift for Bean. It's a very nice zoo, I would love to come back in fall or early spring when the realfeel isn't 106°.
Also, this is what I've been doing to pass down time between the 15 other things I'm doing. It is an embroidery font from ~1886. Not sure what I'm doing with them, but I'm enjoying myself.

Its officially to dark out, but please enjoy my last(very shit) picture of the evening of the rabbit and a firefly.
This is the real reason I am outside. This rabbit has been coming out morning and night for the last few weeks and just last night brought out a mate and BABIES! So I am camped out in the dark to see if they all come out again. I also put out a dish of carrots from the garden as a bribe of sorts.
We have very purposefully not disturbed the brush under the tree area next to the fence beside the patio and in the back of the yard AND THIS YEAR WE FINALLY HAVE FIREFLIES!!! I could cry. I'm only seeing a few BUT THEY ARE IN MY YARD!! Can you spot it??
