Summer is a time for new adventures—and for looking ahead to the future! In that spirit, here’s a brand-new drawing by Daniel, one of the sons of our perinatal data manager Iyesha. Its title is “The Road Ahead,” and it may be inspired by the fact that Daniel will be starting high school this fall!

For #Juneteenth this year, we’re feeling gratitude and admiration for the life and work of Opal Lee, who will turn 100 years young this October. Born in 1926, Lee is known as the “grandmother of Juneteenth” for her tireless efforts to make Juneteenth a nationally recognized holiday. 🧵 1/9
