For a moment, he seemed completely entranced by the food in his hand, lost in the golden-brown crust, mesmerised by its piquant aroma. His lips were noticeably moist, and his eyes were dilated. He was practically lusting over the flaky pastry.
In an odd way, she was jealous of the paneer puff.
