His name was Barlee, I know I gave him a silly name. When I rescued him 8 years ago he was Barley, and so it was. He was a delightful joy. I have the feeling he'll be waiting for me when my time is up.
Salute, on this Memorial DAY to all Veterans who sacrificed a lot for the freedom we enjoy today. They gave up their tomorrow so we can have our today.................This was a project I worked on at a local cemetery in Northeastern California.

Jerry Mitchell, Investigative Report, has written a book, about the brutality of Byron De La Beckwith. He saw it all, and is still reporting and doing his job. The book is Race Against Time. Highly recommend.
