I have lots of opinions, most I won't bore you with. Politically I'm left of centre, and Starmer. more --> Food, street art, comfortable silences, music, k-dramas, comedy, and sleeping are a few of the things that please me
So we're at the "watermelon is antisemitic" stage. FFS! www.middleeasteye.net/news/uk-trai...
I went to my local Turkish supermarket yesterday to buy some Scotch Bonnet peppers, they were £7.99 a kilo, but not great quality, so I bought half a kilo then went to some other shops on the high street, 4 shops all charging £9.99 a kilo and even poorer quality.
I can let AI buy and sell crypto for me? What could possibly go wrong? Let me just check footnote 7...
Don't worry Donald, I have a better vision and spray paint is cheap, just a few million bucks will cover it.
What kind of psychopath lives here? I would be chipping those tiles off after no more than 24hrs
Microsoft are really getting whizzy with their rollouts, they must have it scheduled for when Superman flies so fast he turns back time again. I wonder if anyone bothered to tell Cher about that trick?
They needed a study to figure this out?? www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...
You know what's embarrassing, George? Your comment. I'd like to think it is satire but I very much doubt it. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/07/u...
Yeah Donnie, you'd have won if only it weren't for those pesky bone spurs. Trump is nothing if not full of bullshit. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/04...
I always like the weird stats police give out when they seize drugs. What formula did they use to work out that 1.27m people were deprived from getting high, at once?? Were they skinning up one massive Camberwell carrot? www.koreatimes.co.kr/southkorea/l...

When I first saw this I read it as, "Which of the following Piece Of Shit technology brands have you heard of?" Reading it again, I can't say I was wrong.
Sending cheese from Scotland to France so it can be made into cheese spread and then sent back to the UK? Tell me this isn't some money laundering scam.
I know the spotify wrapup thing is popular, but it only tells once side of a multi-faceted story. That's why I wait for my @last.fm round up, which includes my listening from all streaming platfroms and my locally saved tracks. Which I now share with you all, or whoever is reading.
Thought iI had found a new favourite Korean snack, Buldak flavoured Kimbap. I was wrong, Buldak by name, not by flavour. As I'm feeling generous, I'd rate them a 1 out 5 on the spicy scale. If i was less generous it would be 1 out of 10.
Received a 'survey' from Farage's Reform Party. Started to fill it in, telling them what I thought of them but recycled it and have instead posted back a selection of pizza menus and the local Green Party newsletter. It is over 100g so hopefully they have to pay a surcharge on top. Cunts.
I have to be up early to catch a train at 07:13, so of course I'm still awake, but off to bed now, with the best sleepscape mix, courtesy of @vonrunte.bsky.social
I bought a Brita jug 6 years ago, every few years the battery in the memo timer that tells you when to replace the filter dies. I log in to my Brita account and request a new one and it arrives in about a week, free of charge. It's little things that keep you (me) loyal.
Curious to know why skull bookends make good gifts for women and not men. As it happens I'm buying a set to cater for my @helleborezine.bsky.social collection, which has outgrown the bedroom shelf.
I don't really do toast, but if I had room I'd have that toaster! It could sit next to my giant lucky cabbage
Have to say, I'm liking the new Sprints album, All That Is Over, a lot. Not quite as frantic as previous, but when you're my age you can't be jumping around too much. Yet another pink vinyl record added to the collection, I think it's now overtaken my red vinyl collection.
New vinyl record day, which made it through customs without getting slapped with VAT and a stupidly high 'handling' fee. Mildly disappointed at the PVC cover, but why wouldn't I go for the zeotrope version of Margo Price's Hard Headed Woman?
Looking at Amazon for reviews on headphones and stumbled across this multi-buy. Who out there is thinking, "You know what I need? headphones and disposible gloves"
Is a "triple-XXX version" really a XXXXXXXXX version? Does one have to verify one's age in order to buy it?? Full article here: observer.co.uk/style/drink/...
While the government shouts about pledging £8.5m towards Palestine through the UN’s OCHA Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) Humanitarian Fund, they do temper expectations in the small print. Let's see how much of that pledged money actually gets spent... www.gov.uk/government/n...
On one hand they store and process your data in the UK, on the other they send it to the US to deliver functionality.
