I went to my local Turkish supermarket yesterday to buy some Scotch Bonnet peppers, they were £7.99 a kilo, but not great quality, so I bought half a kilo then went to some other shops on the high street, 4 shops all charging £9.99 a kilo and even poorer quality.

I know the spotify wrapup thing is popular, but it only tells once side of a multi-faceted story. That's why I wait for my @last.fm round up, which includes my listening from all streaming platfroms and my locally saved tracks. Which I now share with you all, or whoever is reading.

My most listened to artist was Sturgil Simpson, number two was Tchaikovsky, number three was Johhny Blue Skies (actually Sturgil Simpson's new recording name) and Margot Price was number 4.

My top album was Passage du Jour by Johnny Blue Skies, my top track was Future Enemies by Yola. Apparantly I as the only person on last.fm to have that as my top track.

My top five genres were country, indie rock, indie, rock, and folk. no eccentric chamber bubblegum emo pop here, thank you very much

Thought iI had found a new favourite Korean snack, Buldak flavoured Kimbap. I was wrong, Buldak by name, not by flavour. As I'm feeling generous, I'd rate them a 1 out 5 on the spicy scale. If i was less generous it would be 1 out of 10.

Received a 'survey' from Farage's Reform Party. Started to fill it in, telling them what I thought of them but recycled it and have instead posted back a selection of pizza menus and the local Green Party newsletter. It is over 100g so hopefully they have to pay a surcharge on top. Cunts.

I bought a Brita jug 6 years ago, every few years the battery in the memo timer that tells you when to replace the filter dies. I log in to my Brita account and request a new one and it arrives in about a week, free of charge. It's little things that keep you (me) loyal.

Have to say, I'm liking the new Sprints album, All That Is Over, a lot. Not quite as frantic as previous, but when you're my age you can't be jumping around too much. Yet another pink vinyl record added to the collection, I think it's now overtaken my red vinyl collection.
