Had a 20 min conversation about this movie plot with my doodle. She is baffled. “How could a similar situation happen?” she wondered.
Seriously my happy place. So grateful for the land, soil, water and my horticulturalist husband! Early returns!

I give you a Baltimore Oreo eating apricot marmalade out of an orange and two male grosbeaks because…it’s better than the news.
They have no idea how unsettling the world is or how much joy they bring to my window.
Spring flowers from our place. Lightens my Monday mood. Thought it might do the same for you.
Why isn’t the call to save Democracy coming from every room? I know the answer. It’s not acceptable. #Hungary just showed U.S. I’m not willing to let Oligarchs rule my life.
I call it purple potato Thursday with slow roasted beef and are you kidding me gravy. 😆

What a beautiful surprise while advocating for rural health policy rooted in humanity here in DC. (Alexandria actually but you know.)
Visited National Archives today ahead of recording at 2 policy meetings in DC. A few reminders of who were supposed to be.
Current view from my office. Very thankful for these distractions.

@edwincpark.bsky.social as always, thank you. Project 2025 was clear on the intent. The plan was always to ensure the ultrawealthy have healthcare and the rest of us can make do with pennies and a pretend stethoscope. Put it on your holiday list. It may be your only access to care in 2026.
And he is now issuing insane and dangerous “orders” on his social about extremely complicated scientific and medical matters. The recklessness with malice and harmful intent is beyond anything my imagination could’ve ever conjured. This must cross a legal line, it must! Congress do your jobs.
On tonight’s @rururbbridge.bsky.social Community Works Summit. Watch / listen to Director Meredith Dean on a new episode of @ruralimpactpodcast.bsky.social 10/23!
