A little lunchtime DIY project: having nowhere to keep chopping boards close to the breakfast area was doing my head in so I found some offcuts the kitchen fitters left and fashioned this little shelf thing for the toaster etc to sit on and create room underneath for storage.
The sea was so still this morning and the sky was clear for miles with the only cloud hanging low on the horizon so it almost looked like an iceberg reflecting the morning sun.
XTEINK crew 👊 I just need @hardcover.app integration in crosspoint and a backlight and it’ll be the perfect device. I carry mine inside the cover of my wallet/journal thing and having it always on me has made such a massive difference to my reading - habit!
I’m so glad the UK government are banning YouTube so my kid can’t be exposed to videos of how to draw cute cartoon dinosaurs but they’re not banning the Daily Mail so he can still be exposed to racism and bigotry every time we do the big shop.
Probably, but this would’ve definitely looked better and is in their brand kit. More readable too. That coral on the stripes will be a bit eye-buzzing I reckon.
Norway should be disqualified on the grounds that the font on the back of their shirts is embarrassingly bad. Why??
I’ve also added this little commit graph-style thing on the homepage linking to the change log. Mostly because I liked the way it looked.
Making some progress on this. I’ve put in an order for some test prints, so I guess we’ll see if this works or not. Trying to produce a high-res and precise print layout in the browser turns out to be a massive pain but I’m determined to not just put a PDF in a web browser and call it quits.
