God’s own third wheel. Human wreckage. Abandon hope all ye who enter.
I also couldn’t resist doing this, because I am a scamp, a goblin, a hoppy go-bobblin’ fool, etc.
It has been approximately twenty four hours, and I am still laughing at the text arrangement on this post.
It was my uncle’s birthday this week. I wrote his birthday card and the ink in my pen started going a bit weird, presumably due to the heat. I thought I would make reference to it in the card, and ended up making a mistake that I couldn’t unsee.
This song is called ‘Sunrise Of This Town’, and will be featuring on one of the next couple of things I put out under ‘Attack Of The Vapours’.
I played a last-minute support set last night, supporting a band called The Brackish. It was such fun, and I felt more confident doing it than I have in a little while, partly because I’m performing more new songs than I have in a few years & partly because I’m now WANTING to get new stuff released.
We don’t have one round my way anymore, this was ours. Amazingly the darker bits were orange on the left and green on the right, and was a strong contender for ugliest building in Staffordshire, if not Britain.
My friend sent me an amusing joke about lemonade and then one about a cat, and straight away all I could think of was my favourite Garfield strip from when I was somewhere around 6-8 years old.
Personally I think football matches would be much improved if one player was picked at random to wear a Bernie Clifton ostrich costume.
Posted this quote from something I’m working on to my Attack Of The Vapours socials, and accompanied it with this photo.
What a - and I don’t think I’m mincing my words here - fucking hilarious ad.
AAAHAHAHA yes! This one’s even funnier - so much so that it’s got its own separate heading. 😆 “He had initially been looking at a website about tractors…”
I remember this, was it Damian Green? Resigned in 2017 over harassment & watching porn in office, so OF COURSE serial adulterer & general pest Boris Johnson brought him back two years later.
I’ve just done a very warm half-hour onstage at another weekender festival.
And almost bang on time to me making this point, an AI app has reposted me being critical about it, in amongst people lourding it as the way forward. How phenomenally apt.
My next fumbling into an Attack Of The Vapours gig is coming next Saturday! Details below, and if you fancy visiting the fine borough of Stoke/Newcastle-under-Lyme, tickets are here: www.seetickets.com/event/bars-a...
God knows what’s up with the people at this house, they didn’t appreciate me following their instructions at *all.*
Pick a Bind villain from the photos you already have on your phone.
I’m sure they’ll be perfectly peaceful and maintain a united front in their civility.
My hometown’s local music shindig is happening in a mere week, and I will be doing a half-hour of facenoise.
Of course you know what would be really fucking nice? If people would maybe do stuff like this that served 1 instead of 2, because shopping for 1 is sometimes a real pain in the arse:
SATURDAY: Publicly complains about people parking on the pavement and blocking it for wheelchairs, pushchairs, and even just anyone carrying loads of stuff so they have to walk in the road. TODAY:
This sounds like a term for something you get after someone’s urinated in your face.
Howling at this AI sponsored post. “But John, how do you know it’s AI?” I hear you ask. It’s because his hand’s on the wrong way around.
Did yet more refining on it last week, snapped the last piece into place, and two days later thought “Christ, this looks like a brick.” So last night redesigned it AGAIN. At some point I need to do a tour of the inside, because I really like the layout with the large dual level modules.
So ‘Starfield’ released on PS5 last week and I’m obsessed. I’ve spent days refining this ship!
