These are my actual pedals, can't seem to find them anywhere but they used to be all over Planet X
Today is Big Bike Ride day. Heading off quite late though because a mate from climbing is joining me and he has to finish work first. So train to Pewsey at 6, ride on to the Ridgeway & wild camp somewhere and then do the main bit tomorrow.
Glad you enjoyed it, I was there too! I agree with you about Avatar. I'd never heard them before yesterday.
That's a nice drink, here's me . Can't even get a bit tipsy on this stuff!
Planning my next big bike ride. Hopefully I will do this over a weekend at some point towards the end of July.
It's .... shit that putting this on my rucksack made the biggest difference to reducing that sort of shit
Ooh ooh! My Field Programmable Gate Array breakout board has just arrived! #exciting!
For food measure, here is a picture of a well used bicycle chains that were used in both the heatwave and the following muddy deluge. Had these been oiled my fingers would be covered in nasty gritty oily greasy horrible stuff and some of it would probably have got onto my jeans.
Clearing out some old stuff I came across my favourite books , 30 years old this year and I think I must have bought it the year it came out. #halfTermReads
Lots of burrows all linked up along this stretch of forest. I wonder what animal they belong to.
Luckily we've got this close by, but by this afternoon ever here it'll be too hot
At this point I would feel more favourable to someone who handed something in composed entirely of the words from the Skol Song.
The Ridgeway could be on the cards to be my next expedition. I could get a train to Pewsey near one end and pick up another train to take me home from Tring near the end in one day or do an overnighter and cycle home as well.
I'm in Chester Le Street near Durham, walking along the riverside path. There are so many beautiful little gems here.
You have to keep your wits about you to avoid missing these little blue signs, ay.
