I looked up my birth month to see if anything was on DC Universe infinite. Nope, 1950s comics just aren't there at all. Too late for the Golden Age, and just when the Sliver Age was just starting. I guess for cover date, this is the most notable issue. The First Lois Lane Showcase comic?

The new Galaxy GN is only visible to Ultra subscribers. Looks like the only issue of All American comics from the Golden Age is #16 with the first appearance of Green Lantern. They did bring her back in JSA #55, which is on DCUI. AS well as her cameo in All Star Comics #3.

For #caturday. we have acquired two new cats that needed a new home. They are settling in after a week in their new digs. We are debating on new names for them. They are brother and sister. The half white tabby has a birth defect with their right eye.

We had a Pizza Hut near ASU that had a party room with a TV. Our local Star Trek club would meet there occasionally, hook up a VCR, and watch the latest TNG episode from the satellite feed. Also did a special event to watch the Babylon 5 pilot on the day it was sent out.

I got riffed after 33 years with effectively the same company. During that time I got made available to other departments several times as well, but was kept at the company. This once included being told they didn't need anymore software after I developed a test suite in HP Basic on an HP9845.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. From the responses, you definitely have a few people interested in contributing to it. I still have a couple of magazine boxes filled with issues. The big question is, will they be bringing back the retail stores?

I grew up in a small town that didn't have any malls. There was an IGA with my last name on it where I first worked painting the signs for the front windows with the weekly specials, then graduated to sacking groceries and stocking the shelves. It was the first job for many a high schooler in town.

Bringing John out as the first guest I invited to Phoenix ComiCon in 2010 was the best choice I made. It led to a lot of other great author guests coming out while I was in charge due to him having such a good time and telling others about it. Also, Unicorn Pegasus Kitten happened because of it.

I've been enjoying videos of the Monk Seals shared by Mark Lindsay (of Paul Revere & the Raiders fame) on his Facebook page. He now lives in a complex that oversees where several of them hang out. One of the seals there just had a pup. Mother is named Kaiwi according to news reports.

I remember the furor over the Captain Power toys that allowed you to shoot at targets on the screen during the TV show. No actual projectiles were involved. The show was cancelled after the one season. The core production team led to the existence of Babylon 5.

There's dozens of them that have been parked at Goodyear airport for a couple of years. Some of them have the Spirit logo covered over with a big black rectangle that looks like they just put electrical tape over it.
