Mrs. O’Hara’s Minion
@mrsoharasminion
Nonjudgmental human. Not so much funny as funny adjacent. Retired (ptsd) and remarried with grandkids. Competent whistler. New to cosplay/sewing. Enjoy history and diff. cultures. Astronomy. Model railroading. Personal chef (mostly carbs) for wife.
Watching Walking Dead for the first time. I’m not a horror fan, so I never tried before now. Curious whether I’ll enjoy it or not.
The local library was offering a free hot dog lunch sponsored by the Rotary Club, and one of the librarians dressed as a hot dog (similar to one seen here). It was a good day.
I’m not enjoying the reality show version of Oregon Trail
Going forward, any film or show that includes an inauguration of a US president should include a cutaway to this image
Mrs. Scarlett O’Hara approves of this choice… but nothing else. lol
I like to think there’s a Crocodile Hunter type guy running around Star Wars who just loves all the creatures that would eat you whole or piecemeal.
Temps are beginning to warm up (it almost hit 40°!) but the river did not get the memo. Picture is taken from a 2nd story deck overlooking the river. It’s been a cold winter.
I may have already said this, but I really enjoy Stanley Tucci’s work. (Wikipedia photo)
I wonder if FIFA will demand its first ever Cup the Ball prize back
Sometimes celebrities using a professional name surprises the heck out of me. Imagine going through life, enjoying Weird Al’s music, only to find out his real name is Dave! It’s not, but just imagine.
Uhhh, at least I’ll be relaxed Or possibly yelling, “I told you so!” when my paranoia comes to fruition in the form of of a chainsaw wielding maniac 🤷♂️ 🚬 😵💫
When I was a kid, saying I would be DMing someone meant the evening was about to be spent eating assorted snacks and rolling plastic dice to determine whether my friend was eviscerated by the owlbear or not. It was lit.
Wife thought she was buying traditional plastic pink flamingos for the yard but accidentally got these flat yard sign types instead Rather than returning them, she’s naming them after royal family members and planting them about the yard Will have “flamingo watch” updates as snow hits this winter
Celebrating the life changing date of August 31 by wearing my red Chuck Taylor’s. It helps that I’m bald, but I have zero skills concerning the repairing of photo booths.
My son, 30, loves the goofy comedy style and was (still is) a big fan of Jerry Lewis. 30 rarely takes days off of work, but he took a personal day when Lewis died. I took time during our So. Cal. trip to get a picture of 30 at Lewis’ star.
Went to watch Al and enjoy some fair food. Passed this on the way.
Congrats to Nick Kurtz. Reminds me of that time Ventura got 6 hits when facing Nolan Ryan.
Where my brain goes every time I hear/read, “Stitch incoming”
Got this message from my wife with no other context. I wasn’t sure how to handle it.
I had a maybe slightly less impressive display at my own little garden this year
