Last night my #longcovid hypertension flared up, but I forced out smiles when taking selfies. ❤️‍🩹😭 I shared one of many concerns, but many more to go today. But happy to meet other masked patient representatives and researchers! 🧵

Julie’s Blood Pressure monitor showed Systolic at 162 mmHg and Diastolic 102mmHg, measurements indicating Hypertension 2 during the RECOVER meeting.

2. In 2023, Julie was being evaluated at Weill Cornell’s sleep study center for her persistent eye pain, day-time drowsiness and dizziness after her infection of SARS-CoV-2 during the first Omicron Wave at the end of 2021.
