Well, the smoke is still blowing down the Mersey, no where nearly as bad as last night. But there is still a good haze visible in headlights
Well, I reckon the fisherman or kids in the park have been a bit stupid with portable bbqs. I reckon these firefighters have had a busy weekend without idiocy added to the fray! And thankfully my neighbour's parking was a lot better today allowing them down the road.
Compromised on what ended up being 80km Knutsford, Tatton Park, Winsford, Congleton and Goostrey Was a v. warm morning, but with plenty of water and a coke and Victoria sponge slice in Congleton Park it was a very enjoyable ride. Lots of diverse local wildlife
These guys are having a wail of a time! Especially when they all get going at once
Well, ready to pub quiz on a school night with my @galibiervelo.bsky.social pen.
An amazing day out riding, definitely ran out of gearing at some points in the tunnel so who knows how fast I was going at points.
Mass roll out needed. We have the means (presumably this can be retrofitted to older cars), just need the will. Either that or every vehicle gets a governor
All ready and cleaned up for tomorrow! New bell fitted! Should really get my specialized gravel bike fixed up again after it fell apart #LCL2026
Ive got some i keep meaning to install, thanks for the reminder. I got into the habit of just popping the rubber cover on /off
Well managed to cycle down Chester road again this weekend after first doing it 18M ago. Was amazed the first time cycling along and unexpectedly coming across completely segregated infra.
Then onwards toward Dunham Massey, with a stop at The Apple Barn for a slice of cake and a bag of crisps... Made an immediate new friend. Should be back along the TPT tomorrow wards home and might have to pop in for a pint
Early start to to day, rode out to Great Budsworth. Easily one of the most picturesque villages in Cheshire (shame about the parking
Bats are putting on a hell of a display tonight! Amazed the slow mo video worked in this low light
Ha, heard about this NSW anti speeding campaign on the Lateral podcast on the way home. Trying to find out if it was effective.
Dropped down the wirral way for a cake stop and along the millennium greenway in Chester. It was a warm one today!
All set up for a wirral-y fun adventure. Sunscreen applied and ready to reapply. Gone for a camelbak today as its going to be toasty.
Ooh, two weeks to go and back into the tunnels. Going to be a very pink day!
