Visited today with two toys in a bag with treats. Fetters (older dog) looked at my son when he told the dogs to sit and said, "you sit, that's MY grandma and your rules don't apply here. He chose his toy first, as the oldest dog should.
I hate it here. Dementia has enough stigma. We dont have wards for care because we aren't CRUEL. This administration is what it is because they CHOSE to be, not because they have a cognitive deficit.
Even when speaking about this administration using Dementia in this way is unacceptable. It continues the uneducated, mean spiritedness around the various diseases of Dementia. We do not say "demented" and in Dementia care we do not "control". Dementia is not the culprit here any way.
