On the topic of steinies I think it’s incredibly stupid of Gibson to have omitted the pivot plate from the reissues It’s one of the key features of the bass, it’s why it balances so well and sits comfortably Without it it’s so awkward to play

Speaking of record stores god I miss Radio-Active in Fort Lauderdale… By far my favorite that used to be nearby (aside from Record Rack in Pompano, which I miss just as much) My only issue is its decline before the end, cool old staff left and then weird new staff came and changed the whole vibe
