Working a bit on a small story. My skittermander may be a bit too small and have a bit too many morals to *actually* eat people, but he likes to show off what he CAN swallow and pretend for the camera.

“Mmm, with all that settled… looks like we had a little audience who think they’ll be safe in a bus.” Fizzik lifts up a can of soda, which he’s painted a bus on the side of, and licks his lips. “Roll up the windows, keep the doors shut, and just riiiiide it out. Surely you’ll be safe.”

He leans his head back, giving the overhead camera a good look down his mouth as he pushes the can in. His tongue coaxes it to the back of his throat, and with just a little hesitation, he swallows. While not the biggest thing he’s sent down there today it’s certainly being the most difficult, forming a defined bulge down his throat. Still, even this is no match, as it sinks down and vanishes into his stomach with all the rest.

The camera lowers down, hovering just over the lush fur coating his chest. This mic can clearly pick up his breathing, and more importantly the muffled gurgles of his stomach working away on its meal. His fur shifts as he tenses his belly and holds his breath. One second… two… and then there’s a definite bump from inside his chest, as well as a loud hissing and the chaotic spray of the can being breached, followed immediately by a loud belch.

He raises the camera back up to capture his full body as he gives his belly a pat. “Well, think their little shelter worked out?”

It's a 90s toy that's just a plastic sleeve filled with water that you can kind of slide around to shift what's inside or outside and felt oddly satisfying to do... anything it's long and girthy, made of plastic, and is associated with water so that's the connection.
