here's a muse fact for you: I used to do SFM renders (this one is from 2018)
my memory for the process is a tadd bit hazy, but what I pretty much did is select the top faces of the head base, duplicate it as a new object before applying solidify modifier + extrude and trace over a reference the best that I can (in my case, it was a reference that I drawn for the model)
been busy lately also doing another one of these because the 2024 image flashed in my mind everytime I look at my updated model
